Aeolus brand value breaks 10 billion yuan

When the list of the Top 500 Chinese brands came out recently, from World Brand Lab, which researches global brands, Aeolus Tire had moved up three places to 197th as its value grew by 1.32 billion yuan year-on-year, to 10.1 billion. Aeolus has made the list for 11 consecutive years and has worked on brand building by improving its development model, production, and performance. It became the only tire supplier for China’s Grand Rally, an A-class auto rally, for two consecutive years. It also responded to President Xi’s strategic vision of a New Silk Road Economic Belt by developing China’s first rail line to connect the city of Zhengzhou, Henan province and Europe, on Nov 23, 2013, triggering a media frenzy. In 2014, Aeolus was invited to the Volvo Ocean Race as the only diamond-grade partner, with sponsorship by the Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co, one of the world’s top heavy truck producers. It drew millions of tele-viewers and spectators from all around the world, helping promote the Aeolus brand worldwide.

The Top 500 Chinese brands list is determined by sales, customers, and brand strength. World Brand Lab is an international brand researcher, headquartered in New York, and a part of World Executive Group, a global strategy consultant, with Robert Mundell, a Nobel Economics Prize winner, as its chairman. The lab consults with experts from Harvard, Yale, MIT, Oxford and Cambridge and its findings are considered an asset by many companies.
